T-train.......I grew up in a small town (Willits, Ca pop 3,000) that at one time had 7 lumber mills, today there are 0!
In 1984 I went to work for the last mill in the town and worked there for 4 years.....I was laid off just before they closed their doors for good.......I didn't receive any compensation except 26 weeks of unemployment.....I had to move away to support my 3 y.o. son!
Take the vacation money and run!.......If you do get called back, it's only a matter of time before you are laid off again!

RE: Refunds on Plastic~Not Very Timely
My bank has never "overdraft"-ed me on a refund that was "pending"........In other words, if a refund or return is "pending", even if the money isn't there 'YET'......It's still my money!

Turkey....It's not just for holidays!.....I will be getting my 2 safeway turkeys today....I won't be home for thanksgiving so they will go into my freezer......I also have 7 turkey "bucks" I earned from another local store.......I will use them for another turkey to donate to the local food bank.

Haven't been there recently, but I do know the improvements have been going REALLY slow....Still no miniature golf, still no snackbar, still no water park.....These are just a few of the improvements our local paper said were gonna happen, but haven't.
The last time I stayed there (over a year ago), it was no different from when it was Beaver Creek Campground...Except the name, of course...My kids still had a good time though.

I've said for years that those who must rely on cuss words have a limited intelligence and therefore a limited vocabulary. I've heard both my kids cuss and just 2 days ago, I got my daughters report card..."Molly is very respectful and has a lot of empathy for her classmates"...Was just 1 of the comments along with her A's, B's and the one C she got..
People on this forum have met my daughter and have commented on what a "SWEET" girl she is....!..UNLESS she says, "Pull my finger"..:B
Again, if the worse thing she ever does is say a few WORDS, then I've raised her right!

If the worse thing my daughter ever does is use a few swear words, then I HAVE done my job as a parent.......And no doubt. she has learned those words from me, along with a dozen other places.......I don't sweat it, she's still a good kid.
